The position
As Department Lean Coordinator in Purification Pilot Plant, you will be defining and driving lean initiatives and projects, as well as deployment across 5 teams in the department. In this role, your responsibilities encompass ensuring lean alignment across the department, working within an environment that involves a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization. The tasks assigned to you will be tailored to your skills and will entail activities such as complex problem solving, process mapping, VSM, and visual management.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and driving lean roadmap and implementation locally in the teams in the department
  • Structure and facilitate workshops
  • Structure and lead projects in team and department
  • Facilitating complex problem solving and process mapping


Qualifications
To succeed in this role you preferably have an academic background and possess a bachelors or masters´ degree. It could be within natural sciences, social sciences, engineering or similar, with experience in facilitating and driving projects at team and department level.

Further experience include:

  • Demonstrated ability to create overview and structure projects and tasks
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in systematic problem solving at a high level, as well as other lean methods
  • Knowledge about working in a GMP regulated environment is a plus

As a person, we expect you to have excellent collaboration skills, to be structured and reliable and to have an ability to stay focused and make the right decisions in a dynamic work environment. Also, you are a team player and enjoy working together with different stakeholders.


About the department
The department Purification Pilot Plant consists of ~70 people divided into 5 teams; 4 pilot facilities located in 2 different locations and a support team. We are a part of CMC API Pilots with responsibility to produce active drug substances for the clinical trials and optimize processes for market production.
